My culinary journey started back in 1976 at the age of 16 sitting on a stool next to my Nona Lucy in her kitchen every Sunday morning. Her secret to her delicious Sunday gravy was stirring it gently and singing to it in Italian. It was a masterpiece of taste. After years of Sundays cooking with my beloved Nona she passed away leaving me with a passion of being a chef and making the people who ate my food happy. I started cooking at pizza shops and delis until landing a great position with Starwood hotels as a Culinary Supervisor at a Sheraton in Philadelphia. I was fortunate to have 2 great mentors who showed me the ropes. From there I started task forcing with Starwood and worked at 6 world renowned brands from Boston to Florida. I spent 12 years with Starwood and also 2 years with Kimpton Hotels and contract work at a hoity-toity country club. After that in late 2017 a tragic event forced me to leave Boston and come home to New Jersey. It was time for a change but my burning desire to cook was still there. So, I went and invested in a Chefs for Seniors franchise with my biggest supporter and love of my life Cami.Cami studied nursing at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She has experience in the nursing private sector and as an operating room nurse. Cami loves animals and has a natural desire to care for others. One thing led to another, and our business grew into what it is today, a success.
